CLEWISTON — Please be advised that, beginning Sunday, Feb. 14, Hendry County’s contractor, Community Asphalt Corp., will be conducting road work and construction services on Sonora Avenue from W.C. Owen Avenue to Twin Lakes Drive in Clewiston.

The road work includes milling and resurfacing of the existing roadway. Flagmen will be present to direct traffic. The speed limit will be reduced through the project area.

Motorists should expect lane closures and possible delays throughout the duration of the road work operations and allow extra time for their commute.

Motorists and pedestrians should use extra caution when traveling through the work zone.

The road work is expected to have a completion time of approximately seven days.

Road work operations will occur throughout the week, from Sunday, Feb. 14 to Sunday, Feb. 21, 4:30 p.m. to 5 a.m.

• Bridge Work End: February 21, 2021
