CLEWISTON – Jordan Davis will headline the Clewiston Sugar Festival in 2024. On Nov. 3, the Clewiston Sugar Festival organizers shared the new on social media.
Davis, 35, who was born in Shreveport, La., is an American country singer and songwriter, signed to Universal Music Group Nashville’s MCA Nashville Division.
Davis blends pop, modern R&B, and hip-hop with a solid country music foundation. His debut album “Home State” reached number six on the Top Country Albums chart in 2018. He has had subsequent hits with “Take it from Me,” and “Slow Dance in a Parking Lot.”
His 2021 duet with Luke Bryan, “Buy Dirt,” reached number one on the Hot Country Songs chart and was one of the top five most streamed country songs in 2021 and 2022. His second album, “Bluebird Days,” was released in 2023.
Also on the Sugar Festival lineup is Austin Snell, 26. Snell’s 2022 debut singer “Excuse the Mess,” had more than 1 million streams in its first week. He has more than 290,000 followers on his austinsnellmusic Tik Tok account. In 2023, he released his second original song, “Get There First.”
Snell is from Dudley, Ga. He served in the U.S. Air Force.
The festival is planned for Saturday, March 16, 2024 in Civic Park off U.S. 27 in Clewiston. The festival will include free concerts, an antique tractor display, a car show, a free kids play park, a baking contest and more.
