The following individuals were arrested on felony or driving under the influence (DUI) charges by Florida Highway Patrol FHP, Glades County Sheriff's Office GCSO or Seminole Police Department SPD.

• Clarence Hunter, 39, Moore Haven, was arrested Jan. 3 by GCSO and charged with destroying evidence, felony battery, possession of a weapon by a convicted felon, cruelty toward a child and resisting an officer. Bond has not been set.
• Joshua Madrigal, 25, Okeechobee, was arrested Jan. 1 by FHP and charged with fleeing law enforcement, resisting an officer, probation violation, moving traffic violation and non-moving violation. Bond has not been set.
• Herberto Santana-Boullosa, 50, Fort Myers, was arrested Jan. 7 by FWC and charged with possession of a weapon and an animal conservation charge. Bond has not been set.
