Joanne was born in Fort Pierce on May 13, 1952 to Jacqueline Hockenhull Carlton & Sidney Wright Carlton of St. Lucie County. She was a 7th generation Floridian and a 4th generation pioneer family of St. Lucie County, the Carltons.
Her viewing was held on Friday, January 26, 2024 from 4:00-7:00 P.M. at Haisley Funeral Home, 3015 Okeechobee Road, Fort Pierce. A service was held on Saturday, January 27, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Andrews Episcopal Church, 210 S. Indian River Dr., Fort Pierce. A private burial followed at the Carlton Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Haisley Funeral Home. An online guest book may be signed at www.haisleyfuneralhome.com
