AVE MARIA — Until You Return Homewatch has earned accreditation from the National Home Watch Association for the fifth year. The NHWA was formed in 2009 in order to establish and maintain the highest industry standards for Home Watch and absentee homeowner services throughout the United States and Canada (www.nationalhomewatchassociation.org). Home Watch is a visual inspection of a home or property, looking for obvious issues, which means that it is a service that “keeps an eye on things” at your vacation or primary home while you are not in residence. All principals of NHWA Accredited Member companies are background-checked, insured, and bonded.

Owners Curtis and Donna Schroeder are the husband-and-wife team who own and operate Until You Return Homewatch. Curtis is a retired IBEW electrician. He served a four-year apprenticeship in Local 98, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and advanced in the industry from journeyman electrician to General Foreman, Field Superintendent, and ultimately Project Construction Manager before retiring with 38 years of experience in the construction industry.

Donna retired after serving for 26 years as Controller of the Wilmington Country Club in Wilmington, Delaware. She holds a degree in Business Management and has extensive experience in property care and management, having personally managed their former vacation rental properties in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania and Wilmington Country Club’s rental properties in Delaware.

Donna and Curtis started their business in order to provide their neighborhood with a professional Home Watch service option. They have both earned the designation of Certified Home Watch Professional from the NHWA, placing them among the elite Home Watch providers in the industry. The CHWP designation shows their commitment to providing excellent service to their clients.
