Ranch rodeo state finals postponed

Posted

The Florida Cattlemen’s Association has made the difficult decision to postpone the Florida Ranch Rodeo State Finals and all related activities that were scheduled to be held Sept. 24-25, 2021 at the Silver Spurs arena in Kissimmee.

An announcement posted Aug. 28 states: "It is with extreme caution , that this decision was made in an effort to do what is best for the safety and well being of all participants, volunteers and attendees, and is mostly due to continuing public health concerns and the recent increased levels of the COVID virus in Florida’s population. We will monitor the situation in the forthcoming months to determine options for conducting these events. Thank you for your understanding and patience with the decision to be careful and responsible concerning the health and safety of all involved."
