Ernest, a winter resident, and choir member of First UMC of Okeechobee, a loving husband, proud father of five. He passed away on September 22, 2023. He was also a founding member of the leather guild and he loved to fish and play golf. He was a life member of the Ernie Pyle Post VFW and the American Legion Post 64 in Okeechobee, FL.
Ernest is survived by his wife, Beatrice Way-man and children: Joyce (Glenn) Ann Sakowski, Joseph Wayman, Cheryl (David) Wagner Kirkland, and Timothy Scott Wagner.
