IMMOKALEE — RCMA in conjunction with the Hispanic Federation, UnidosUS and Alianza will host the Immokalee Health Fair is to take place on Saturday, Dec. 18 from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The health fair will take place at RCMA’s Immokalee Community Academy parking lot, 123 North Fourth Street in Immokalee.

As part of its commitment to the community and with grants it applied for, RCMA will provide wellness screenings for cholesterol, diabetes, and blood pressure along with COVID testing, COVID vaccines and flu vaccines. There will also be food distributions and gift card incentives. A health fair held in November attracted more than 300 people.

The Hispanic Federation, UnidosUS and Alianza partners with RCMA to make health fairs possible. Partner agencies that will participate include Healthcare Network and the Shelter for Abused Women and Children.
