PALM BEACH COUNTY — The following individuals were arrested on felony or driving under the influence (DUI) charges by the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office (PBSO), the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC), or the Department of Corrections (DOC) in Belle Glade, Pahokee, South Bay or Canal Point.

• Mireya Guzman, 23, Northwest Avenue E., Belle Glade, was arrested Dec. 15 by PBSO and charged with burglary - assault or battery, and child neglect - neglect of a child without great bodily harm. Bond has not been set.

• Timothy Ward, 35, Southwest Fourth Street, Belle Glade, was arrested Dec. 15 by PBSO and charged with selling drugs,  marijuana possession - sell, manufacture, deliver, within 1,000 feet of worship/business; drug equipment - possession - use possess, manufacture, paraphernalia, to transport drugs; and marijuana possession - with intent to sell, manufacture of deliver. Bond was set at $14,000.

• Demarious Verdell, 30, Southwest Ninth Street, Belle Glade, was arrested Dec. 16 and charged with battery - commit domestic battery by strangulation, and aggravated battery - offender knew/should have known victim pregnant. Bond set at $30,000.

• Travis Edwards, 32, Southwest Avenue C, Belle Glade, was arrested Dec. 18 by PBSO and charged with weapon offense - missile into dwelling, vehicle, building or aircraft; resisting officer with violence; aggravated stalking - follow, harass cyberstalk, credible threat to person; property damage - criminal mischief; and robbery - no firearm or weapon. Bond was set at $24,000.

• Xavious Harris, 41, Annona Avenue, Pahokee, was arrested by PBSO Dec. 13 and charged with larceny - grand theft $750 less than 5k dollars. Bond was set at $1,000.

• Curtis Jackson, 37, Farm Place, Pahokee, was arrested by PBSO Dec. 19 and charged with driving while license suspended habitual offender. Bond was set at $3,000.
