Artist Spotlight: Keianna Summers is multi-media master

Clewiston — Multi-media master, Keianna Summers has been busy. The 21-year-old, who studies media communications at Full Sail University was born and raised in Clewiston. After producing and directing her recent film titled, “Protect Our Women. Free Our Men. Love Our Skin. The ambitious, driven, up and coming mogul, has gone on to create and launch her own magazine.

“My name is Keianna Summers. I am the Founder and creator of Real. Raw. Risen Media! We aspire to stay Real to who we are, get Raw when talking about issues, and we never forget that WE CAN RISE above every situation!” she explained.

Just as her powerful film regarding racial justice and unity went viral on social media, Summers announced her new venture, Live on Facebook, the afternoon of Saturday, Oct. 10, and the immediate response was overwhelming.

“We reached our halfway mark of sales in just 24 hours!” said Summers. She went on to explain that the first issue will be the only physical copy that will be made. Every other magazine issue in the future will be digital.

The magazine promises a variety of content from lifestyle and fashion, to faith. Summers said she wants to make a one of a kind, unique magazine filled with exclusive content including an interview with Lauren-Ashley Beck from Season 39 of CBS Survivor. She says more announcements about fun and exciting local events are to come soon.
