PALM BEACH COUNTY -- A Belle Glade man was killed in a two-vehicle accident on Thanksgiving Day in Palm Beach County, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office report. The accident occurred at 5:09 p.m. on Nov. 25.
Novilus Frinot, 45, of Belle Glade, was driving a 1999 Nissan Altima.
Jacob Tavarez, 45, of Odessa, Texas, was driving a 2002 Dodge Durango. Passengers in the Durgano included: Diana Marie Salazar (age unknown) of Odessa, Texas; Mario Enrique Lordeo, 36, of Odessa, Texas; and Kameron Dshayne Williard, 24, of Odessa, Texas.
According to the PBSO report, The Nissan was traveling south on State Road 15 (U.S. Highway 441). The Dodge was traveling north on SR 17 (U.S. 441). For unknown reasons, the Nissan made an abrupt movement to the left, and into the path of the oncoming Dodge.
The front of the Dodge impacted the passenger side of the Nissan.
Frinot was transported to St. Mary’s Hospital via trauma hawk. He died at the hospital due to injuries sustained in the collision, according to the PBSO report.
The driver and three passengers from the Dodge Durango were transported to Lakeside Medical Center by emergency vehicles. They were listed in serious condition.
