BELLE GLADE — A recent print edition of the Lake Okeechobee News featured a community events item that stated all Black Gold Jubilee events have been postponed until the fall. This was incorrect.
The Black Gold Jubilee for 2021 is on track!
The Children’s Fishing Tournament is set for Saturday, April 10 with registration beginning at 7 a.m. and fishing beginning at 9 a.m.
The Night Golf event will be held Friday, April 16 at Belle Glade Municipal Golf Course. Tee time is at 7:30 p.m./dark.
The Black Gold Jubilee will be held Saturday, April 17 featuring food vendor, live entertainment, children’s rides and a volleyball tournament.
