LABELLE -- Join  Good Shepherd Episcopal Church on Wednesday, Oct. 4, at 6 p.m. at 1098 Collingswood Parkway for the annual Blessing of the Animals, with light refreshments following. On this day, the church will celebrate the Feast Day of Saint Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of animals. All are welcome to bring a leashed pet or keep your pet in a carrier. All pets are welcome: Furry, scaly, and feathery, as well as stuffed animals or pictures of your pet. This special event is open to ALL community members of any religious affiliation. Pet owners can show appreciation for their pets, make new friends, and share the company of other animals and their owners.
