LABELLE — PulteGroup, one of the nation’s most recognized and trusted brands in homebuilding for 70 years, has announced Caloosa Cove, a Centex community in LaBelle offering 137 new single-family homes and a neighborhood park on 40 acres.

With a gated entry located off Ben Moore Road just 20 miles east of Fort Myers, Caloosa Cove pricing is expected from the low $300,000s with sales anticipated to launch in late 2024. Showcasing a variety of innovative one- and two-story home designs, Caloosa Cove’s floor plan options will offer homebuyers the flexibility of three or four bedrooms, two baths, two-car garages and 1,400 to 1,600 square feet under air.

“We’re pleased to offer affordable, well-appointed homes designed to fit an array of lifestyles and budgets,” said Josh Graeve, president of sales for PulteGroup Southwest Florida. “Caloosa Cove has a great location and is ideal for homebuyers who crave the charm of a small town. LaBelle is an incredible city along the Caloosahatchee River.” Caloosa Cove offers convenient access to SR 80, a major east-west Florida highway connecting Fort Myers and West Palm Beach. It’s also close to SR 29, offering shorter distances to Alligator Alley and Florida’s East Coast. Caloosa Cove’s location provides residents with proximity to daily shopping needs, dining, recreation, quality healthcare, local pharmacies and schools.

Low fees and a laid-back low-maintenance lifestyle give residents more time to enjoy LaBelle’s charming historic downtown and the city’s seven parks, all within a 10-minute drive. Popular parks include Davis-Pratt Park with baseball and softball fields and a full-size Pop Warner football field, and Bob Mason Park, offering direct boating access, kayaking, canoeing and fishing on the Caloosahatchee River, the intercoastal waterway between the Gulf of Mexico and Atlantic Ocean. Anticipated for completion this year, the C-43 Reservoir, just five miles away, offers 10,000 acres with boat and kayak launches, miles of hiking, biking and equestrian trails.

A picturesque city with mature moss-draped live oaks, LaBelle’s deep ties to agriculture and the area’s array of mom-and-pop businesses provide unique experiences – from local honey, pick-your-own blueberries and produce, the annual Swamp Cabbage Festival, and craft beer, farm-to-table dining and weekly food truck events at the family-owned LaBelle Brewing Co.

Nestled along the river, downtown LaBelle is only five minutes from Caloosa Cove and offers shops, art galleries and a library within walking distance of City Wharf, featuring a river boardwalk and docks. It’s also home to the all-volunteer Firehouse Community Theatre, serving the area for over 30 years.

Multiple healthcare centers and providers are conveniently located within three miles of Caloosa Cove with the acute-care Hendry Regional Medical Center 35 minutes away. LaBelle is also 40 minutes from the Southwest Florida International Airport and 45 minutes from the Punta Gorda Airport, offering direct flights to 55 destinations as far as Maine and South Dakota.

Caloosa Cove is only 10 minutes from B-rated LaBelle High and LaBelle Middle schools and five minutes from LaBelle Elementary. Hendry County’s school choice program also allows parents to select their child’s schools. High school students can participate in the Career & Technical Education program, earning certificates and acquiring skills for immediate employment or post-secondary training. Eight minutes from Caloosa Cove, Florida Southwest State College offers bachelor’s and associate degrees and certificate programs.
