OKEECHOBEE -- Thousands of people lined the parade route on U.S. 441 (Parrott Avenue) and SR 70 for Okeechobee's Lighted Christmas Parade on Dec. 9. The hour-long parade included lots of lighted floats, beauty queens, horses and the Okeechobee High School Marching Band joined by band members from the middle schools.
