PAHOKEE – The Pahokee community will celebrate Cinco de Mayo on Saturday, May 7, at the Pahokee Marina, 190 N. Lake Avenue, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The celebration will include music, children's activities and a car show. Music will be by D.J. Marco and Mariachi Pancho Villa.
Miss Teen Latina USA Jessania Blanco will be a special guest at the celebration.
The Cinco de Mayo celebration is part of the year-long celebration of Pahokee's 100th anniversary. The committee is currently planning their next event, Juneteenth/Muckteenth. For more information, see their City of Pahokee Centennial Celebration 2022 on Facebook.
