OKEECHOBEE — On Thursday, April 4, at approximately 5:43 a.m., Okeechobee Police Department and Okeechobee County Fire Department, responded to a reported house fire on SE 7th Street; 400 block. In the process of extinguishing the fire, firefighters located a deceased unknown person inside. At this time, the scene is still under an active investigation with the Okeechobee Police Department Detectives and State Fire Marshals.
