Driver killed in fiery crash

HENDRY COUNTY -- The driver of a sedan was killed in a one-vehicle crash at 12:30 a.m. on Oct. 16, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Driver killed in fiery crash

HENDRY COUNTY -- The driver of a sedan was killed in a one-vehicle crash at 12:30 a.m. on Oct. 16, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

According to the FHP report the vehicle was traveling south on County Road 835, at the intersection of Rogers Road in Hendry County. The car failed to negotiate a curve to the right, traveled off the roadway, collided with a stop sign and canal and became engulfed in flames.

Positive identification of the driver remains pending.  FHP Cpl. Wargo is the investigating officer.
