Posted

MOORE HAVEN — The Glades County Community Partners’ meeting will be held on Thursday, March 9 from 11:30 to 1:30 p.m., at the Glades County Public Library, 201 Riverside Drive.

A collaborative effort is underway in Glades County to identify opportunities to build and enhance the county’s local economy, and to develop an action-oriented economic development and disaster preparedness strategy. This effort has been made possible by the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity through a Competitive Florida Partnership grant that will enable the County to identify key community assets and set goals to implement an economic vision and strategy for the County.

To RSVP and for additional information about this effort, contact Jennifer Codo-Salisbury, Central Florida Regional Planning Council, at 863-534-7130 extension 178, jcodosalisbury@cfrpc.org. RSVP is not required, but encouraged by Monday, March 6, 2023. One or more elected officials may be in attendance.

In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), anyone who needs a special accommodation to participate in this workshop should notify Glades County at 863-946-6125 at least 48 hours in advance of the scheduled meeting.
