Glades County provides free COVID-19 Testing

GLADES COUNTY — The Florida Department of Health of Glades and Hendry Counties will provide free COVID-19 Testing to adults and children over 5 years of age without appointments. Children will need a parent’s consent. No criteria or restrictions for testing.

COVID0-19 Testing will be provided at the following locations:

• Saturday, Sept. 26, from 9 a.m. to noon, at West Glades School, 2586 State Road 731 (Muse) in LaBelle;

• Sunday, Sept. 27, from 1 to 3 p.m., at Palmdale Baptist Church, 510 Seminole Ave. in Palmdale;

• Monday, Sept. 28, from 9 to 11 a.m. at Glades County Health Department, 1021 Healthpark Drive in Moore Haven;


• Wednesday, Sept. 30, from 9 to 11 a.m., at the Hendry County Health Department, 1100 S. Olympia in Clewiston;

• Friday, Oct. 2, from 9 to 11 a.m., at the Hendry County Health Department, 1140 Pratt Blvd. in LaBelle;

Persons tested will be given instructions on how to receive their test results.

Please stop the spread of COVID-19:

• Follow social distancing, while you are at work and at home.
• Don’t go to work, school, church, or shopping while you are sick.
• Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
• Cover your face with a cloth face covering when you are in public or around others.
• Cover your coughs and sneezes; cough or sneeze into a tissue NOT in your hands!
• Clean and disinfect frequently used surfaces and avoid unnecessary travel.
