LABELLE -- Detention Deputy Princess Smith received her 5 Years of Service with the Hendry County Sheriff’s Office.
She first became a Corrections Officer in 2015 at the South Bay Correctional Facility in Palm Beach County, where she received a life-saving award for her efforts in resuscitating an inmate. She later was employed with the Hendry County Sheriff’s Office as a Detention Officer in 2018.
In 2021, Princess transferred to the Hendry County Court Security Unit as a Bailiff.
