Hendry and Glades Counties provides free drive-thru COVID-19 Testing

CLEWISTON/MOORE HAVEN — The Florida Department of Health will provide free drive-thru COVID-19 Testing to adults and children over five years of age. Children must have parent consent. No criteria or restrictions for testing. Open testing - no appointments needed.

Testing will be provided at the following locations:

• Hendry County Health Department, 1140 Pratt Blvd. in LaBelle, on Monday, Nov. 30 from 9 to 11 a.m.

• Hendry County Health Department, 1100 S. Olympia St. in Clewiston, on Thursday, Dec. 3 from 9 to 11 a.m.

• Glades County Health Department, 1021 Healthpark Drive in Moore Haven, on Monday, Dec. 7 from 9 to 11 a.m.

Persons tested will be given instructions on how to receive their test results.

Please help stop the spread of COVID-19:
• Follow social distancing–Keep at least 6-feet of space from others.
• Don’t go to work, school, church, or shopping while you are sick.

• Cover your face with a cloth face covering when you are in public or around others.
• Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds
• Cover your coughs and sneezes; cough or sneeze into a tissue NOT in your hands!
• Clean and disinfect frequently used surfaces.
• Avoid unnecessary travel.
