Karpus Family Foundation provides $25,000 grant to The Immokalee Foundation’s Education Programs

Naples, FL—12/28/23—For the third consecutive year, The Karpus Family Foundation has generously funded The Immokalee Foundation’s education programs. This year’s $25,000 education grant will continue to support The Immokalee Foundation’s long-term commitment to helping students from Immokalee achieve their career goals.

For over 32 years, The Immokalee Foundation has been preparing the next generation of leaders through a 100% focus on education, career readiness, and professional development for students in Immokalee—from kindergarten to postsecondary education.

The Foundation provides new pathways to success and financial independence through robust programming that prepares students for well-paying, in-demand professional careers.

“As our students often join us in 6th grade and participate in our programs throughout their postsecondary journey, we are especially grateful To The Karpus Family Foundation for its history of generous support,” said Noemi Y. Perez, President and CEO of The Immokalee Foundation. “Their proven understanding of our mission and the needs of our student population is both noticed and highly appreciated.”

Karpus’ generous contribution is earmarked for The Immokalee Foundation’s award-winning Career Pathways Program, which provides academically gifted and financially disadvantaged students with critically needed support in-school support, out-of-school tutoring, and educational summer camps in four unique Pathways: Business Management & Entrepreneurship, Education & Human Services, Engineering & Construction Management and Healthcare.

Promoting education is a Karpus Family Foundation goal, with the ultimate objective of helping people live a productive life.

“Making our country great requires an investment in our youth,” said Karpus Family Foundation President George Karpus. “The Karpus Family Foundation continues to be proud to partner with The Immokalee Foundation and we thank them for bringing our attention to this great opportunity to support college educations. These students have the potential to make positive changes in the country and that all begins with values instilled in them by their community and their families.”-
