Okeechobee Arrest Report

The following individuals were arrested on felony or driving under the influence (DUI) charges by the Okeechobee County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO), the Okeechobee City Police Department (OPD), the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC), the Department of Corrections (DOC) or the Okeechobee Narcotics Task Force (ONTF).

• Arren Knight, 16, Northwest Fourth Street, was arrested Sept. 24 by OCSO and charged with burglary of a conveyance. He was transferred to the custody of the DOJJ.

• Marshall Coker, 30, U.S. 441 Southeast, was arrested Sept. 24 by OPD and charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of a controlled substance without a prescription and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at $7,500.

• John Hair, 36, Northwest 160th Drive, was arrested Sept. 15 by OCSO and charged with making contradictory statements in an official proceeding. Bond was set at $3,000.

• Michael Harden, 38, Northeast Ninth Avenue, was arrested Sept. 24 by OPD and charged with lewd and lascivious behavior with a victim under the age of 12. Bond was set at $50,000.

• Hayleigh Price, 26, U.S. 441 Southeast, was arrested Sept. 24 and charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, grand theft, burglary of an unoccupied dwelling and obstruction without violence. Bond was set at $11,500.

• Carmen Barber, 52, Southwest Third Street, was arrested Sept. 24 by OCSO and charged with possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving with an expired driver’s license more than six months. Bond was set at $4,000.

• Jody English, 28, Port St. Lucie, was arrested Sept. 27 by OCSO and charged with DUI and operating a motor vehicle without a license. Bond was set at $1,000.

• Alvin Crowell, 31, Southwest 22nd Street, was arrested Sept. 26 by OCSO and charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting arrest without violence. Bond was set at $4,000.

• Ray Alvarez, 60, Northwest 50th Drive, was arrested Sept. 25 by OCSO and charged with DUI and damage to property after reportedly almost hitting a sheriff’s deputy’s vehicle, striking a traffic sign, hitting a fence post and ending up in a shallow body of water. Alvarez allegedly said he was headed home after celebrating his 60th birthday. Bond was set at $500.

• Jesus J. Aguina-Ibarra, 39, Melbourne, was arrested Sept. 25 by OCSO and charged with DUI, operating a motor vehicle without a valid license and failure to drive in a single lane. Bond was set at $1,500.

• Allan Fox, 62, Southeast 36th Avenue, was arrested Sept. 25 by OCSO and charged with corruption by threat, resisting arrest without violence and disorderly intoxication in a public place after reportedly exposing his genitals and then stating, “I will have you guys killed. I know people who will take care of it,” to the officers who arrested him. Bond was set at $30,000.

• Tyonne Frost, 19, Northeast 13th Avenue, was arrested Sept. 29 by OCSO and charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. Bond was set at $150,000.

• Randy Ammons, 58, Southeast 25th Street, was arrested Sept. 25 and charged with felony battery. Bond was set at $5,000.

• Shelly Goist, 49, Southeast 24th Boulevard, was arrested Sept. 29 and charged with petit theft, third or subsequent offense. Bond was set at $1,500.

• Corveda Smith, 63, Northeast 60th Avenue, was arrested Sept. 29 and charged with grand theft. Bond was set at $2,500.

• Andrew Riojas, 41, Southeast 28th Street, was arrested Sept. 30 and charged with DUI. Bond was set at $250.
