Okeechobee Arrest Report

The following individuals were arrested on felony or driving under the influence (DUI) charges by the Okeechobee County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO), the Okeechobee City Police Department (OCPD), the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC), the Department of Corrections (DOC) or the Okeechobee Narcotics Task Force (ONTF).

• Brent Havens, 39, at large, was arrested on July 29, by OCSO and charged with burglary of an unoccupied structure. He was also charged with a misdemeanor offense of petit theft second degree. Bond was set at $3000.

• Johntaurus Johnson, 20, Clewiston, was arrested on July 29, by OCSO and charged with contempt of court. No bond was set.

• Fernando Chavez, 48, St. Cloud, was arrested on July 30, by OCSO and charged with possesion of cocaine. Bond was set at $5,000.

• Ambrosio Hernandez-Hernandez, 54, Northeast 60th Ave., was arrested on July 30, by OCSO and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and fleeing and eluding a law enforcement officer with lights and sirens active. He was also charged with a misdemeanor offense of resisting arrest without violence. Bond was set at $11,000.

• Aaron Locklear, 33, Northwest 87th Court, was arrested on Aug. 1 by OCSO and charged with trafficking methamphetamine 14 grams or over. Bond was set at $60,000.

• Jarren Hall, 23, Northeast 103rd Ave., was arrested on Aug. 2, by OCSO and charged with grand theft valued at at least $20,000 but less than $100,000. Bond was set at $10,000.

• Kaine Kent, 27, Northwest 7th Ave., was arrested on Aug. 2, by OCSO and charged with fleeing and eluding a law enforcement officer with lights and sirens active. He was also charged with a misdemeanor offense of resisting arrest without violence. Bond was set at $6,000.

• Rachel Morales, 20, Northwest 42nd Ave., was arrested on Aug. 2, by OCSO and charged with grand theft valued at at least $750 but less than $5,000 dollars. Bond was set at $5,000.

• Gabriel Chapman, 28, Okeechobee, was arrested on Aug. 4, by OCSO and charged with two counts of possesion of weapon/ammo by a convicted felon. He was also charged with a misdemeanor offense of disharging a firearm in public. Bond was set at $31,000.

• Nicolas Hernandez Jr., 18, Okeechobee was arrested on Aug. 4, by OCSO and charged with fleeing and eluding law enforcement at high speed. He was also charged with a misdemeanor offense of driving withou a driver’s license. Bond was set at $25,500.

• A 17-year-old male, Okeechobee, was arrested on Aug. 4, by OCSO and charged with two counts of premeditated murder. Bond was set at $200,000.

• A 15-year-old male, Okeechobee, was arrested on Aug. 4, by OCSO and charged with two counts of premeditated murder. Bond was set at $200,000.

• A 15-year-old male, Okeechobee, was arrested on Aug. 4, by OCSO and charged with premeditated murder and accessory after the fact of a capital felony. Bond was set at 200,000.

• Floyd Moore, 55, Okeechobee, was arrested on Aug. 4, by OCSO and charged with possession of methamphetamine. He was also charged with a misdemeanor offense of use or possession/use of drug paraphenalia. Bond was set at $6,000.

• Jairo Valenzuela-Cruz, 34, Okeechobee, was arrested on Aug. 4, by OCSO and charged with three counts of neglect of a child without great bodily harm. Bond was set at $6,000.

• Betty Adali Velasquez-Aguilar, 30, Okeechobee, was arrested on Aug. 4, by OCSO and charged with three counts of neglect of a child without great bodily harm. Bond was set at $6,000.

• Christopher Zeigler, 34, Okeechobee, was arrested on Aug. 4, by OCSO and charged with possession of narcotics over 10 grams. He was also charged with a misdemeanor offense of use or possession/use of drug paraphenalia. Bond was set at $31,000.
