OKEECHOBEE — The Okeechobee Be Ready Town Hall meeting will be held on Thursday, May 25, at the Douglas Brown Community Center, 826 NE 16th Ave., from 5 to 7 p.m.
Presentations will begin at 5:30 p.m. Topics will include: what to bring to a shelter, how to prepare your family and pets, special needs shelters, hurricane information, emergency checklist, volunteer opportunities, and more.
Important information for Special Needs Residents will be available! If you feel you require a special needs shelter during an emergency, please plan to attend this event!
