The following individuals were arrested on felony or driving under the influence (DUI) charges by the Okeechobee County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO), the Okeechobee City Police Department (OCPD), the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC), the Department of Corrections (DOC) or the Okeechobee Narcotics Task Force (ONTF).

• Gary Crosswhite, 69, State Road 78 West, was arrested on Nov. 7 by OCSO Deputy J. Fairtrace and charged with DUI or drugs. Bond was set at $500.

• Jeremy Menn, 41, at large, was arrested on Nov. 7 by OCSO Deputy J. Fairtrace with DUI or drugs. Bond was set at $1,500.

• James Bawgus Jr., 15, Northwest 40th Drive, was arrested on Nov. 7 by OCSO Deputy K. Kanarick and charged with criminal mischief for damages of $1000 or more.

• Melissa Carter, 33, Southeast 57th Drive, was arrested on Nov. 7 by OCSO Deputy M. Esquivel and charged with DUI or drugs. Additionally she was charged with leaving the scene of a crash involving property damage. Bond was set at $3,000.

• Alejandro Miranda, 18, Lake Worth, was arrested on Nov. 7 by OCSO Deputy M. Cauley and charged with fleeing with disregard of safety to persons or property. He was also charged with a misdemeanor of reckless driving first offense. Bond was set at $11,000.

• Jacorey Smith, 14, Northwest 24th Avenue, was arrested on Nov. 7 by OCSO Deputy K. Kanarick and charged with criminal mischief with damages of $1,000 or more.

• Carter Tinajero, 13, Northwest 22nd Avenue, was arrested on Nov. 7 by OCSO Deputy K. Kanarick and charged with criminal mischief for damages of $1000 or more.

• Mario Rodriguez, 56, Northeast 102nd Street, was arrested on Nov. 8 by OCSO Deputy B. Rhodes and charged with DUI or drugs. Bond was set at $1,000.

• Mark Demelo, 47, Southeast 33rd Terrace, was arrested on Nov. 8 by OCSO Deputy F. Hernandez and charged with felony violation of probation for a charge of possession of a controlled substance. Bond was set at $10,000.

• Anthony Bormuth, 35, at large, was arrested on Nov. 8 by OCSO Deputy J. Timmons and charged with hinder/delay/prevent communication to a law enforcement officer. He was also charged with a misdemeanor of assault. Bond was set at $1050.

• Thomas Clayton, 65, Port St. Lucie, was arrested on Nov. 8 by OCSO Deputy R. Holroyd and charged with driving while license suspended, revoked, canceled, or disqualified - third offense. Bond was set at $2,500.

• Jose Flores III, 23, Northeast 30th Terrace, was arrested on Nov. 8 by OCSO Deputy D. Satallante and charged with assault/battery with a deadly weapon without intent to kill and criminal mischief for damages of $1000 or more. Bond was set at $10,000.

• Rene Hampton, US Highway 98 North, was arrested on Nov. 8, by OCSO Deputy A. Majere for felony violation of probation.

• Timothy Heckman Jr., 32, Northeast Third Circle, was arrested on Nov. 8 by OCSO Deputy M. Wright and charged with possession of methamphetamine. Additionally he was charged with two misdemeanor charges of possession of marijuana under 20 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at $6,000.

• Antonio Morris, 20, Hawthorne, was arrested on Nov. 8 by OCSO Deputy A. Majere and charged with felony violation of probation on a charge of battery by detainee.

• Carlos Sanchez, 24, at large, was arrested on Nov. 8 by OCSO Deputy J. Timmons and charged with felony violation of probation for on a charge of battery.

• Onnie Cypress, 36, Knots Landing Northeast, on Nov. 9 by OCSO Deputy M. Esquivel and charged with possession of cocaine and DUI alcohol or drugs. Additionally she was charged with a misdemeanor of driving while license suspended with knowledge. Bond was set at $10,000.

• Tony Frost, 38, Northeast 16th Avenue, was arrested on Nov. 9 by OCSO and charged with possession of cocaine with intent to sell/distribute and possession of MDMA with intent to sell/distribute. Additionally he was charged with two misdemeanor charges of possession of marijuana under 20 grams and possession/use of drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at $82,000.

• Nicholas Poltronieri, 22, Port St. Lucie, was arrested on Nov. 9 by OCSO Deputy D. Rogers and charged with four counts of grand theft more than $750 and less than $5,000. Bond was set at $30,000.

• Stephen Barton, 36, Northeast 55th Trail, was arrested on Nov. 10 by OCSO Deputy C. Daigneault and charged with making a false report concerning a bomb/explosive. Additionally he was charged with a misdemeanor of disorderly conduct. $26,000.

• Tina Thomas, 39, Northwest 11th Street, on Nov. 10, by OCSO Deputy A. Bieger and charged with resisting an officer with violence. Additionally she was charged with a misdemeanor of assault/battery with culpable negligence. Bond was set at $1,000.

• Candace Burress, 60, Southwest 13th Way, was arrested on Nov. 10 by OCSO Deputy J. Fairtrace and charged with DUI alcohol or drugs. Bond was set at $500.

• James Jasper, 16, Southwest Fifth Street, was arrested on Nov. 10 by OCSO Deputy R. Feldman and charged with felony battery.

• Shelandra Wilson, 55, Orlando, was arrested on Nov. 11 by OCSO Deputy T. Porter and charged with introduction of intoxicating beverage/controlled substance/weapon into a facility and possession of methamphetamine 14 grams or over. Bond was set at $125,000.

• Elbert Ochoa, 35, Northwest 15th Street, was arrested on Nov. 11 by OCSO Deputy J. Penfield and charged with domestic battery by strangulation. Bond was set at $5,000.

• Raymond Stewart III, 19, Hollywood, was arrested on Nov. 11 by OCSO Deputy J. Fairtrace and charged with battery on detention or commitment facility staff. Bond was set at $5,000.

• Charles Acquaotta, 77, Northeast 13th Avenue, was arrested on Nov. 11 by OCSO Deputy C. Weeks and charged with DUI alcohol or drugs. Bond was set at $2,500.

• Calvin Branam, 28, US Highway 441 North, was arrested on Nov. 11 by OCSO Deputy R. Hernandez and charged with DUI alcohol or drugs. Bond was set at $500.

• Humberto Orozco-Ramirez, 28, US Highway 441 South, was arrested on Nov. 11 by OCSO Deputy B. Rhodes and charged with DUI alcohol or drugs. Bond was set at $500.

• Kevin Wooddell, 52, Lake Wales was arrested Nov. 11 by OCSO Deputy M. Esquivel and charged with DUI alcohol or drugs. Bond was set at $500.

• Justin Hoover, 40, Southeast 57th Drive, was arrested on Nov. 12 by OCSO Deputy M. Cauley and charged with possession of methamphetamine. Additionally he was charged with a misdemeanor of possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at $6,000.

• James Bawgus, 39, Northwest 40the Drive, was arrested on Nov. 12 by OCSO Deputy J. Fairtrace and charged with DUI alcohol or drugs. Bond was set at $500.

• Tina Edwards, 54, Southeast 25th Drive, was arrested on Nov. 13 by OCSO Deputy B. Rhodes and charged with DUI alcohol or drugs. Bond was set at $2,500.

• Robert Jamison, 42, Southeast 42nd Trace, was arrested on Nov. 13 by OCSO Deputy B. Rhodes and charged with DUI alcohol or drugs. Bond was set at $750.

• Eric Robinson, 30, Northeast 50th Court, was arrested on Nov. 13 by OCSO Deputy E. Gauroniak and charged with DUI alcohol or drugs. Bond was set at $2,000.

• Osbaldo Esparza, 22, Northeast 37th Street, was arrested on Nov. 13 by OCSO Deputy S. Casian and charged with lewd and lascivious conduct offender over 18 years of age and victim under 12 years of age. Bond was set at $75,000.

• Thomas McClain, 59, Northeast 22nd Avenue, was arrested on Nov. 13 by OCSO Deputy A. Rojas and charged with driving while license suspended, revoked, canceled, or disqualified - third offense. Bond was set at $2,500.

• Deagan Osceola, 19, Grady Road, was arrested on Nov. 13 by OCSO Deputy M. Wright and charged with felony violation of probation for a charge of grand theft of a firearm.

• Anthony Sanchez, 30, Bennett Drive, was arrested on Nov. 13 by OCSO C. Daigneault and charged with felony violation of probation for a charge of possession of methamphetamine.
