The scene showed no obvious signs of fuel trails or containers or incendiaries. No witness or property owner was found on the scene. Fire rescue crew started fire suppression with foam, as well as blocking and absorbing fuel and oil leakage from the vehicle with quick dry. A few hours after fire rescue cleared the scene, the tow truck driver called for Fire Rescue to respond for possible smoke or steam visible while moving the chassis from the scene. Upon investigation, no fire was found. E2 crew put approximately 50 gallons of water onto the vehicle to give the tow truck driver peace of mind. The cause of the fire was undetermined.

• On Oct. 27 at approximately 3 a.m. OCFR responded to a call in the 8500 block of Northeast 12th Street in regards to a brush fire. Upon arrival the crew found a 7 acre brush fire in a heavily wooded area. Florida Department of Forestry was asked to respond and upon arrival they were able to dig a plow line around the fire OCFR trucks applied 1500 gallons of water to extinguish the fire. All fire was extinguished at approximately 3:32 am. with the use of 1000 gallons of water and 8 gallons of foam. Fire rescue crew stayed on scene to insure no fire reignited.
