OKEECHOBEE — Okeechobee County Sheriff Noel E. Stephen issued the following statement on Saturday June 17, 2023:
"I filed for my third bid as sheriff of Okeechobee County in May 2023. I have violated the unwavering trust of my loving wife which was all my fault! I am truly ashamed of myself! I am unsure as to my future! I am sincerely SORRY!"
