![An Okeechobee student was chosen as the secretary of Florida State Future Farmers Association (FFA) for 2023-2024. The 2023-2024 Florida FFA State Officer Team includes:
President Kayelee Ehrisman of Belleview FFA; Secretary Jenna Larson of Okeechobee FFA; Area I Representative Makenleigh Bledsoe of Jay FFA; Area II Representative Hunter Sharp of Chiefland FFA; Area III representative Mackenzie Cunningham of DeLand FFA; Area IV Representative Emma Self of Bartow FFA; and, Area V Representative Spencer Baylor of Strawberry Crest FFA. The Florida FFA State Convention was held June 19-23 at Caribe Royale in Orlando. Nearly 6,000 FFA members, advisors, administrators, alumni, parents and industry partners came together to celebrate the achievements won by the past and present generations of agriculturalists, while continuing to develop their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success.
