OKEECHOBEE- The Okeechobee High School Lady Brahman varsity softball team defeated the Port St Lucie Lady Jaguars 17-0 at OHS on April 2.
The Lady Brahman softball program is holding their annual ball drop fundraiser on April 18. The Lady Brahmans will drop a thousand numbered golf balls from a helicopter over the softball field, and the person’s whose ball lands closest to second base will win $1000. Second closest will win $750 and third closest wins $500.
You can purchase a ball for $10, and don’t need to be present at the actual drop to win. Money raised by the ball drop will support the Lady Brahman softball program. Reach out to OHS softball coach Mary Huff or one of the Lady Brahman players to purchase your entry to the fundraiser.
