PAHOKEE — The Pahokee Middle School (PMS) National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) recently held its annual Induction Ceremony and proudly welcomed new inductees and saluted transitioning eighth grade students. The guest speaker was Mary Evans, consultant with the School District of Palm Beach County. This year’s theme “Persistence and Determination: Imperative for Success in the 21st Century,”  Evans challenged the students with four important components of success: Character, Relationships, Goal Setting and The Efforts you put forward & Your Legacy. The ceremony was followed by a delicious meal of various kinds of food provided by Principal Dwayne Dennard.
