OKEECHOBEE — Okeechobee City Police Department reports a 12-year-old boy apparently attempted to take his own life on Friday, March 8.
According to the report, officers responded to the call at approximately 7:13 p.m.
The boy was transported to St. Mary's Medical in critical condition.
The investigation is ongoing and active.
