Sheriff’s Marine Unit to offer boat inspections & safety tips for recreational boaters

LABELLE — On Saturday, June 25, Hendry County Sheriff’s Office Marine Unit will be hosting a Public Boater Safety event from 2 to 5 p.m., (weather permitting), at the LaBelle Boat Ramp, 363 Old County Road 78 in LaBelle.

Members of the Sheriff’s Office Marine Unit will be available to offer free boat inspections, provide education on boat safety, and answer any questions the public may have. The HCSO Marine Unit is looking forward to the opportunity to meet and speak with recreational boaters. They want to be certain to have a fun and safe summer on the water.
