Students serve pancakes to earn funds for field trip

Posted

OKEECHOBEE — Rock Solid Christian Academy has a tradition of taking students to Saint Augustine when they are in fourth grade. When COVID-19 hit, the trip was canceled, and when it was finally deemed safe to take the trip again, the school had several grades who had missed out. Last year, they took students in fourth, fifth and sixth grade in order to catch up.  Each year, the students raise money by selling tickets for and then serving pancake breakfasts to the community. Pictured are some of the children who served.
