OKEECHOBEE — The Class of 2023 will be graduating on May 27, 2023. As in the last thirty-four graduations, our community will unite to offer our best wishes to our graduates. Our “Grad Party” event will be held on Friday, May 26, immediately following the mandatory graduation practice on the campus of the high school on Brahman Field.

What we are planning is a field day event with food, games, and gifts at no cost to the students! Volunteers are welcome to help that day. Please contact Our Village at 863-447-0473 to do so or if you have any questions.

A celebration such as Grad Party does not happen year after year without the support of the community, including people, organizations, and businesses like you. Our Village Okeechobee is once again the lead agency in putting on this event. Currently our major sponsors are the Children’s Services Council, Kiwanis Club of Okeechobee, Okeechobee County Sheriff’s Office, Okeechobee Veterinary Hospital, Okeechobee Chapter of the DAR, Okeechobee Retired Teachers Association, One Stop Party Shop, Buxton Bass Funeral Home, Okeechobee County Education Association as well as many individuals.

Generations of seniors have participated in Grad Party events to celebrate their achievement and everything possible is beind done to keep this tradition alive.
