NAPLES, FL – XX/XX/XX – The Immokalee Foundation is pleased to announce that last year’s event co-chairs, Carol and Tom Joseph, will be joined by Eileen and Dr. Brian Voynick as a new quartet of co-chairs for this year’s Charity Classic Gala: The Power of Education.
The highly anticipated, annual fundraising event will take place on January 19, 2024, at The Ritz-Carlton, Naples Tiburón.
The funds raised at the Gala, will continue to support Immokalee Foundation programs throughout the year.
Since 1991, The Immokalee Foundation has been preparing the next generation of leaders through a 100% focus on education, career readiness, and professional development for students in Immokalee—from kindergarten through postsecondary education.
The Foundation provides new pathways to success and financial independence through robust programming that prepares students for well-paying, in-demand professional careers in Business Management & Entrepreneurship, Education & Human Services, Engineering & Construction Management and Healthcare.
Tom Joseph is the founder and former CEO of Magnum Products, a leading manufacturer of light towers and generators used in the construction industry.
After a career as an administrative law judge and a corporate HR career at Oshkosh B’Gosh, Carol joined Tom at Magnum Products. Together, they expanded the business, becoming one of the largest privately held manufacturers of light towers and earning Wisconsin Manufacturer of the Year in 2005. Magnum Products was acquired by Generac Holdings in late 2011.
Upon settling in Naples, the Josephs have placed their philanthropic focus on The Immokalee Foundation and were recently named Naples Children and Education Foundation (NCEF) trustees. Carol serves on The Immokalee Foundation’s Board and is set to begin her role as Commodore of Naples Sailing & Yacht Club. In addition to his Gala co-chair role, Tom will be participating in the Foundation’s mentor program beginning this Fall.
Eileen Voynick is the Chair of the Board of AGS Health and has served on six corporate boards over the past ten years. She also served as the Academic Chair of Thomas Jefferson University and Medical College and the Executive Board of Jefferson Health, an 18-hospital system in Philadelphia for nine years. She was recently appointed to the Executive Board of The Naples Sailing and Yacht Club.
Eileen continues to mentor young women with a passion for their growth and development as future global leaders and entrepreneurs.
Dr. Brian T. Voynick is a distinguished veterinarian and leader in integrative veterinary medicine, having owned and directed the American Animal Hospital in Randolph, NJ, for over 35 years.
His extensive community involvement included roles on various boards and committees, exemplifying his commitment to service and education. In recognition of his achievements, Dr. Voynick received the George H. Cook Distinguished Alumni Award from Rutgers University in 2011.
“It’s been often said that education is the great equalizer. As an Immokalee native, no one understands that better than I do,” said Immokalee Foundation President and CEO Noemi Y. Perez. “The Josephs’ and the Voynicks’ long-held passion for equal access to education makes them the perfect quartet to co-chair this year’s Power of Education-themed event.
