CLEWISTON — Once again, the State of Florida has partnered with the Hendry County District Schools to provide Take Stock in Children Scholarships to five more deserving high school students. Clewiston High School proudly announces the newest Take Stock scholars: Madeline Heron -junior, Carlos Perez - junior, Sandy Lamas - junior, Brizeida Ramirez - sophomore, and Marvin Euceda - freshman. These students were selected for their determination to set goals that will get them into college despite financial obstacles. The scholarships offer two years, 60 credits, at a state college along with mentorship and college readiness coaching throughout their high school careers. These scholarships will be a great start for their big career plans; Madeline plans to pursue a career in medicine. We expect to see great things from these dedicated scholars.
