OKEECHOBEE — The Okeechobee County Agri Civic Center located at 4601 State Road 710 will hold the following events during the month of September:

• Fast and Furious Barrel Race — Friday, Sept. 1 & Saturday, Sept. 2 — Friday: Exhibition runs start at 4:30 p.m., Open runs start at 7 p.m.. Saturday: Exhibition runs start at 8:30 a.m., Pee-wee runs start at 11 a.m., and Open runs start at noon. There is no charge for the public to attend, and a concession stand will be open.

• Reining, Reined Cow Horse, & Cutting Horse Clinic — Saturday, Sept. 8 - Sunday, Sept. 10 — Participants will take part in two days of training with professional trainer Ben Baldus. A full day of learning the basics of the Reining Horse competition on Saturday, Cutting Horse clinic will be Sunday morning, finishing with Reined Cow Horse work on Sunday afternoon.

• Florida Quarter Horse Association - Florida Royal Show — Friday, Sept. 15 - Sunday, Sept. 17 — FQHA members from across the state will compete for points that count towards their national standings.

• Treasure Coast Food Bank — Friday, Sept. 22 at 8 - 10 a.m. — Entrance is at 4601 State Road 710 gate only

• Tour of Champions Barrel Race — Saturday, Sept. 30 & Sunday, Oct. 1 — Barrel racers from all over Florida will compete in one of the largest barrel races held in the state. This is the last of six competitions in the Tour, each one held in a different location. There is no charge for the public to attend, and a concession stand will be open.
