CLEWISTON The Clewiston Chamber of Commerce is using Facebook live to help voters learn more about candidates.
The chamber will present a virtual candidate forum for Hendry County Superintendent of Schools candidates at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 14 online at facebook.com/clewsitonchamber with candidates Gwen Patrick Griffiths and Michael Swindle. Current Superintendent of Schools Paul Puletti did not seek re-election.
Clewiston City Commission candidates will participate in a forum at 11:30 a.m. also on Oct. 14.
The chamber will host a forum for Hendry County Sheriff candidates Oct. 14 at 1:30 p.m. online at facebook.com/clewsitonchamber. The Hendry County sheriff race includes Republican incumbent Sheriff Steve Whidden; Democrat Johnny Jackson; and No Party Affiliation candidate, Ricky Garcia.
Another virtual candidate forum will feature candidates for the Hendry County Commission District #4 seat on Wednesday, Oct. 14 at 3 p.m. Ramon Iglesias and Cynthia Santana De Las Salas will face off in the Hendry County Commission District 4 race. The seat is currently held by Michael Swindle.
