HCSO employees participate in Annual Giving Tree

LABELLE — This year, members of the Hendry County Sheriff’s Office participated again in the City of LaBelle’s Annual Giving Tree. This project supports local senior residents of Orchid Cove in LaBelle.

As always, these gifts are 100% employee donation based. “I am very proud of the growing support shown by our employees," said Sheriff Steve Whidden.
 
Gifts provided for the Giving Tree were delivered early Friday morning, Dec. 16, 2022, by members of the HCSO.
 
Employees met with City of LaBelle Deputy City Clerk Jessi Zubaty and Human Resource Director Lisa Awbrey where they accepted the gifts.
 
“I want to thank each of our employees, who dug deep in meeting the needs of our seniors,” Whidden said. “Clearly, they went above and beyond."
