LABELLE -- On Tuesday, Aug. 30, Hendry County Ag. Deputies located and captured a goat in the area of East State Road 80 and Forrey Drive just east of the City of LaBelle.

The goat was captured and transported to the Sheriff’s Office impound lot. To claim ownership of this livestock, please call the Hendry County Sheriff’s Office at 863-674-5600 and ask to speak with an Ag Deputy.

Under Florida Law, the Hendry County Sheriff’s Office posts online photos and information on livestock found at large. After three days, if they have not been claimed by their owners, the livestock may become the property of the Hendry County Sheriff’s Office.
