The following individuals were arrested on felony or driving under the influence (DUI) charges by the Hendry County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO), the Clewiston City Police Department (CPD), the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC), the Department of Corrections (DOC), Jan. 22 through Jan. 28.

• Yasser Garcia Diaz, 26, Naples, was arrested on Jan. 24, by Deputy Sheriff D. Givans on charges of felony probation violation.

• Latoya Latrese Carey, 37, Lehigh Acres, was arrested on Jan. 24, by Deputy Sheriff J. Cieslinski for an outstanding felony warrant.

• Yasbiel Cabrera, 14, Clewiston, was arrested on Jan. 24, by Det. Sgt. D. McNeil on charges of intimidation – sending a written threat to conduct an act of terrorism and use of two-way communication device to facilitate a felony.

• Martin Gonzalez, 43, LaBelle, was arrested on Jan. 25, by Deputy Sheriff D. Coronilla on charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana under 20 grams and possession of drug equipment.

• John William Chezem, 38, LaBelle, was arrested on Jan. 26, by Deputy Sheriff I. Rodriguez on charges of trafficking in fentanyl, possession of cocaine, possession of methamphetamine, possession of controlled substance without a prescription, driving while license suspended – habitual offender, possession of marijuana under 20 grams, and possession of drug equipment

• Jessica Marie Schaeffer, 41, LaBelle, was arrested on Jan. 26, by Deputy Sheriff I. Rodriguez on charges of possession of drug equipment, possession of trafficking in fentanyl, possession of cocaine, possession of methamphetamine and possession of controlled substance without a prescription.

• Yoandry Jardine Chirino, 43, Clewiston, was arrested on Jan. 26, by Deputy Sheriff D. Givans for felony violation of probation.

• William Korliss Jumper, 28, Clewiston, was arrested on Jan. 26, by Deputy Sheriff R. Loui-Pierre on charges of felony failure to appear.

• Juan Carlos Perez Montero, 53, Clewiston, was arrested on Jan. 26, by Deputy Sheriff D. Blanco on outstanding felony warrant.

• Sylvia Renee Perez, 37, Immokalee, was arrested on Jan. 27, by Deputy Sheriff R. Bellini on charges of possession of drug equipment, possession of methamphetamine, possession of controlled substance without a prescription, use/possession manufactor paraphernalia to transport drugs and out of county warrant.

• Jose Juan Jimenez Escobedo, 30, LaBelle, was arrested on Jan. 27, by Cpl. L. Drew on charges of DUI, operating a motor vehicle without a valid drivers license and possession of marijuana under 20/grams.

• Shomori Keif Butler, 30, Clewiston, was arrested on Jan. 27, by Det. L. Whelpley on charges of felony probation violation, aggravated assault with deadly weapon without intent to kill and aggravated battery –causing bodily harm.
