LABELLE -- Johnson Engineering, Inc. will host a public information meeting to provide information about Comprehensive Plan Amendment and Rezoning requests for property located at 7533 W State Road 80, LaBelle, FL 33935.
The meeting will be on Jan. 13 at 5:30 p.m. at LaBelle Civic Center, 481 W. Hickpochee Ave, LaBelle, FL 33935.
Comprehensive Plan Amendment CPA20-0002 is to redesignate 49.1 acres from Agriculture to Multi-Use Development on the Future Land Use Map to allow the development as outlined below.
Rezoning REZ20-0001 is to rezone the 49.1 acre property from A-2 (Agriculture) to PUD to allow the continuation of existing uses for animal husbandry and basic animal care with additional authorizations for a maximum total of 180,000 square feet of research and educational facilities, 160,000 square feet of agronomic research uses and 20 residential dwelling units.
