LABELLE — The LaBelle Gallery and Cultural Center, located next to Barron Park at 471 Lee Street, is reopening Friday, Sept. 1, after a long, hot summer. The LaBelle Gallery is open to the public starting in September from noon till 5 p.m. on Fridays and Sundays and on Saturdays from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. The exhibition for September will showcase artistic masterpieces centered around florals that span various mediums and styles. Art enthusiasts, collectors and curious minds are invited to explore imagination and creativity.

LaBelle Gallery and events are led by the non-profit group named Arts of the Inland. Members come from many of the communities in this region -- Clewiston, Labelle, Moore Haven, Okeechobee, Immokalee, Lehigh and Alva. Art is a universal language that transcends barriers, and we want to create an environment where people from all walks of life can come together to appreciate and create art. Members are encouraged to connect with a community that loves art. Now is a great time to seize the opportunity to enjoy an extended membership that covers the rest of this calendar year but the entirety of the upcoming year as well.

LaBelle Gallery is thrilled to present a line up of events that celebrate the boundless world of art. The upcoming events in September are “Let Your Creativity Dance: Paint Party with Music”. This is taking place on Friday, Sept. 8, at 6:30 p.m. Participants will be painting a cacti scene together led by an instructor. In October there will be pumpkin painting geared toward all young artists and creative minds! There are also plans to have a pumpkin contest throughout October.

Starting in November will be Saturday Market Days, presented by The LaBelle Downtown Revitalization Corporation and the new Art Adventures will begin when you come take a walk on the "Artside." We will have a booth set up outside the gallery where you can come create an artistic piece for a small donation. The first art adventure is Saturday, Nov. 4 during the Downtown Market. Participants will be painting a piece of glassware to take home. Arts of the Inland members will be assisting participants with ideas and supplies.

The "Fall for the Arts" Juried Art Show also happens in November. Our gallery will come alive with an exquisite collection of curated artworks that showcase the beauty and diversity of artistic expression. There will be a reception and celebration Friday, Nov. 10, 5 - 7:30 p.m.There will be a silent auction, where remarkable pieces of art and art supplies from the studios of our talented members will find new homes. Your bids will not only secure unique treasures but also support the flourishing arts community.

Arts of the Inland is committed to providing a space where art flourishes, community bonds strengthen, and creativity grows.
