In the incident, both vehicles were traveling westbound on State Road 80. The female victim, along with a minor child passenger, was driving a sedan type of vehicle. The suspect driver, later identified as Gregory Dale Snowden (DOB 10-14-61), of Lehigh Acres, was driving his 2018 Chevrolet 3500 Pickup Truck.

While driving, Snowden brandished a 9 mm Ruger handgun. During the incident, the right front of the Chevrolet Pickup Truck collided with the left side of the sedan, causing significant damage to the driver’s side door of the sedan.
