Special to the Caloosa Belle
Nine LaBelle Middle School band students represented LMS in the Heartland Honor Band.
This group is made up of the top band students from the middle schools in the Heartland Consortium. They performed a concert on Feb. 3 in the Alan Jay Wildstein Center for the Performing Arts on the campus of South Florida State College in Avon Park.
The LMS representatives are E. Villeda (flute), F. Menendez-Vazquez (trumpet), J. Dimas-Martinez (clarinet), M. Stuhlman (trumpet), A. Jimenez (bari sax), E. Valdez Castaneda (tenor sax), J. Tomas (tenor sax), A. Aguirre (trombone), Z. Herrera (percussion).
