• 1 whole chicken (3 pounds)
• 1 chicken bouillon cube
• 1/4 cup green onions
• 1 tablespoon minced garlic
• 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
• 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
• Salt and pepper to taste
• Place chicken bouillon cube in slow cooker.
• Remove insides from chicken and rinse inside and outside with cold water and pat dry.
• Sprinkle desired amount of salt and pepper inside chicken cavity.
• Add minced garlic and 1/2 of the green onions inside chicken cavity.
• Place chicken in slow cooker, on top of bouillon cube.
• Sprinkle remaining 1/2 of green onions over chicken.
• Sprinkle Italian seasoning over chicken.
This chicken comes out perfect. It’s moist and tender, but not impossible to remove from the crock pot. The green onions, garlic and Worcestershire sauce do not overpower the chicken with too much flavor.
I poured some of the juice from the crock pot over white rice.
