Soul Harvesters LEMC Annual Labor Day Charity Bash is Sept. 1-4

LABELLE — The enGAGEd Foundation will hold the Soul Harvesters LEMC Annual Labor Day Charity Bash from Friday, Sept. 1 through Monday, Sept. 4 at the VFW Post 10100, 20 Veterans Way in LaBelle.

Experience the electrifying beats, thrilling outdoor activities, and unforgettable entertainment with DJ Wizard.

The four day bash will feature incredible events highlighting support and fundraising for local charitable organizations. Charitable organizations will set up booths to sell merchandise, provide information on their cause and allow for donations to be made.

A daily 50/50 Raffle gives half the proceeds to charity and half to a lucky winner. Tickets can be bought in sets of three for $5 or seven for $10. The winner must be present during the drawing one hour before the daily event ends.

The following events will take place:

• On Friday, Sept. 1 from 5 to 9 p.m. — The EnGAGEd Foundation keynote speaker will be Travis Livingston.

• On Saturday, Sept. 2 from 1 to 8 p.m. — Just Against Children Drowning with keynote speaker Paul Demello.

• On Sunday, Sept 3 from 1 to 8 p.m. — Blue Line Bears with keynote speaker Leigh Strand

• On Monday, Sept. 4 from noon to 6 p.m. — My Warriors Place with keynote speaker Kelly Kowall

Admission is $25 for adults and $15 for children ages 12 and under. Included with daily admission is a scrumptious meal, two - non-alcoholic beverages, and koozie (while supplies last). Friday menu is New York style pizza slices from Leone’s Pizza. Saturday, Sunday and Monday menus is pulled pork, chicken, mac and cheese, sweet slaw, and chips.

The enGAGEd Foundation, Inc., a 501(c)(3), will provide scholarship funds for qualified families to help pay for lessons through ISR Fort Myers. ISR provides self-rescue swim lessons. ‘Rescue’ is the operative word – meaning they teach six-month old infants up to six year olds to ‘Rescue’ themselves should they find themselves in water danger.
