LABELLE — The Trail Life Troop FL-1613 will be having their Join the Trail event on Saturday Aug. 5 from 9 to 11 a.m., at the First Baptist Church of LaBelle, 330 N Main St. Open to all boys ages 5-18. Check out the troop and see what fun adventures is in store for this year!

Trail Life USA is a faith based scouting organization that provides youth mentorship and character development for young men. First Baptist has a local chapter that currently has over 30 young men who participate in the program.

Volunteers will make cookies, brownies, single sliced cake, cupcakes, whole cakes that we can advertise on social media and at local churches, and other baked goods.

Bake sales will be held at the two following sites:
• On Saturday, Aug. 5, from 8 a.m. to noon at Ace Hardware, 350 W Hickpochee Ave.
• on Sunday, Aug. 6, from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at First Baptist, N Main St.

Proceeds will support the Trail Life Troop FL-1613.
